decided to have a personal chef help me out with meals before and after the birth of my baby. This decision turned out to be the best type of help, since having a new baby and a toddler keep me super busy. I started searching for chefs on the Internet, and I chose Jean because of his great  reviews and after reading his website. Jean prepares super tasty meals, in fact, my husband who hates spices, loves all of Jean's spicy dishes!  We really enjoy eating his cooking. We know he shops for the best organic produce/ingredients.
His entree portions are hearty and generous, so we feel comfortably full and satisfied that we had a wholesome and nutritious meal. We have been completely happy with his cooking and his overall service, that we decided to have him come twice a month. Jean is also incredibly nice...try him out, you will not be disappointed!

Dear Jean,
My husband and I fully enjoyed your cooking on Friday, March 30th. We loved the choice of menu and the ingredients were delicious. You have cooked the best pesto that I have ever eaten (even in Italy)!
Your pastry was just divine : that lemon tart was fabulous! The all evening went fantastically well and Ava the waitress was very professional too ; she was so good with us upstairs and I was very pleased that she managed to go up and down without dropping any food. To conclude it was a very successful evening and I would highly recommend you Jean. If I could I would have you cook for us every week!!

I've ordered food many times from Jean and cannot recommend him highly enough. Right from the start, he sits down with you to determine what you like and dislike so he can cater his dishes to your individual tastes.  He makes all his dishes with only the best ingredients, mainly purchased on Borough and Portobello markets. The freshness and delicious flavours will astound you!  In addition to savoury delights such as gazpacho, curry tofu, black bean salad, peanut noodles, pesto and homemade focaccia, he makes the most amazing desserts! We hired Jean a few months ago. Our desire was to have healthy  options for our guests to eat.  Jean was professional and expertly prepared several dishes for our guests to enjoy. He brought all the ingredients to prepare everything at our home.  He took the utmost care in selecting the finest organic foods to use.  Everything he prepared was fresh, delicious, and beautiful.  An added benefit to me was to watch and learn from Jean as he prepared everything.  He was eager to teach me and help whenever I had a question and wanted to learn more about preparing foods for myself.  Anyone who hires Jean will learn more, and eat more healthfully!

Jean is truly fantastic. We had him come into our Home and cook for us weekly for a few months before we moved somewhere with a smaller kitchen. We all miss him terribly. The food he cooked was delicious and he totally opened our eyes to the fact that healthy food doesn't have to be boring. He's a very friendly guy, all happy to chat about anything while he cooks, from food to wine or politics  to anything. One thing I really liked is that he educated us about what he was serving. Rather than just plopping it down and telling us to enjoy, he would go through all the dishes explaining all the intricacies of what we were eating.
